GENERAL OPENING HOURS
Museum opening hours vary throughout the year. Generally museums are open from 9 to 18.00 except for Mondays. As a rule, ticket offices close 30 to 60 minutes before the offical closing times. Before you go, it is recommended that you contact the museum you want to visit to check any changes in opening hours and ticket prices.

This museum has various sections with examples of European fauna and a small amount of fauna from other areas, including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals as well as a notable number of invertebrates.

The anatomy section includes mammals and birds brains.
The paleontological section includes numerous fossils of marine invertebrates and mammals.

The most important part of the museum is a neolithic tomb in excellent condition, accompanied by a collection of remains. Guided visits are available if booked in advance. Entrance is free.
