Information
Milan has three airports, Linate, Malpensa, and Orio
al Serio (Bergamo). The closest is Linate, which is situated about
10 km from the city centre.
Malpensa
is situated furthest from the city centre, about 45 km.away. The
Orio Al Serio Airport is located about 40 km. from the center of
Milan in a city called Bergamo. The air travel network in Milan
is divided into three sectors: Linate serves short-route flights,
while Malpensa is used by intercontinental, international, national,
and charter flights; Bergamo-Orio al Serio also serves international,
national, and charter flights. Flights arriving to Milan directly
from the U.S. land at Malpensa.

AIRPORT
TRANSPORTATION
Malpensa
Trains leave Malpensa every 30 minutes from the Cadorna Train Station
to Malpensa Terminal One - Level One, and the journey takes about
40 minutes. Tickets can be bought at the station or on the train,
but note that tickets cost more if purchased on the train.
An
adult round-trip ticket costs 12 Euros and a one-way ticket costs
9 Euros. For children (between 4-12 years), the price is 6 Euros
for a round-trip and 4.5 Euros one-way ticket.
The
Malpensa Bus Express runs from both Milan Central Station and Malpensa
Terminal 1 between 05:10 and 23:50, departing every 20 minutes.
The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Tickets are bought on the bus.
The price is 5.50 Euros for a one-way ticket. The express bus also
stops at Terminal Two.
The
Air Pullman goes from Milan Central Station and Terminal 1 between
05:20 and 22:30, departing every 20 minutes, every day. The journey
takes about one hour. Tickets costs 4.50 Euros and can be bought
at the Air Pullman desk. Taxis from the airport to central Milan
cost between 50 - 65 Euros.
Linate
Buses (Star Fly) go between Linate and Milan Central Station every
30 minutes. The first departure from the Central Station is 05:40
and the last is at 21:35. The journey takes about one hour. Tickets
costs 4 Euros (adults) and 1,40 Euros (children).
Bus
number 73 leaves daily from Piazza San Babila to Linate every 10
minutes and costs 1 Euro. Taxis from the airport to central Milan
costs between 12 - 18 Euros.
Orio
Al Serio Airport
Trains depart from Orio Al Serio and go directly to Milan Central
Station. The journey takes about 1 hour. Buses leave daily between
Milan Central Station and the airport between 05:30 and 20:00. Departures
from the airport to the Central Station are daily between 08:30
and 22:15. Prices are 6.70 Euros for adults and 3,35 Euros for children
between 2 - 12 years.
